Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?
Simply complete our online registration form after clicking the link on the left of this page. We will enter your information into our registry, and forward a list of required documentation to you. Also, you will receive free, no obligation, e-mail updates of positions that are available in your and/or in areas where you are licensed.

What time commitment is required?
We have arranged assignments from one day, to open-ended. Many times the choice is yours. Even if you are only available for a few days or weeks a year, it is still advantageous to become part of our registry.

What are realistic income expectations?
Most of our positions are currently posted at $100.00 - $110.00 per regular hour. A few are less and others are more. Rates are based on factors such as the region, case types, critical need, etc. On average, a CRNA working locum tenens on a full-time basis (46 weeks per year) earns an average gross annual income of $202,400. This amount is based on an average of 42.5 hours per week x $100 per hour plus $30 per diem for incidentals for each day worked for 46 weeks = $202,400, plus lodging and travel expenses. Locum tenens CRNA's working with our registry that participate in call and overtime have incomes that far exceed this example.

What about housing, travel, and other expenses?
The majority of assignments offer reimbursement or allowances for travel, housing, and incidental expenses. You will always know in advance the expense options for your assignment.

What about malpractice?
Most full-time locum tenens providers prefer to carry their own professional liability policy. Otherwise, we can arrange professional liability coverage for your assignment.

Should I incorporate?
You should consult your tax advisor and attorney so that your situation can be professionally evaluated. However, many of the providers in our registry are incorporated in some fashion. We can refer you to professionals who are experts in these matters.

Why should I choose your service?
We pride ourselves on quality, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to our registry of providers and client organizations. We have a quality assurance program in place to ensure that your experience with our organization is a most rewarding one. We have many competitors and our track record of triple digit growth every year is a testament to our character. We care about you!
